Deanna (Spicer) Hiles

Deanna Spicer Hiles, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on January 10, 2026.
 

Born (March 14, 1945) and raised in Salem, NJ to the late Chester and Marianna Spicer. Deanna was an avid lover of the sun. She spent her weekends on the beach in Cape May with her beloved family. Nothing meant more to Deanna than spoiling, beyond measure, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandbabies.

She is survived by her daughters, Shellie Christman (Glenn) and Tammy Mathias (Michael); her son, Richard Gannon; her extended daughter, Cheryl Stockwell (Melvin Snyder); her daughter-in-law, Denise Capasso; her sisters, Barbara Ware and Jane Hooks; her brother, Don Spicer; grandchildren, Chelsea Christman, Remington Christman, Mikayla Mathias, Chad Mathias, Kaytlynn Capasso, Marianna Spicer, Erlnda Spicer and Bridget Bonvetti; six great-grandchildren, Ryker Miller, Axel Miller, Tenley Garduno Reza, Creed Sooy, Aubrianna Stockwell and Anthony Bonvetti. Deanna was predeceased by her husband, Earl Hiles; her son, Fred Spicer; her sisters, Joanne Henderson and Gail Donelson; her brother, Dale Spicer. Deanna will be truly missed.
